life's a climb, but the view is great :)
smile-keepholdingon:

This boy was a freshman at my school when he was diagnosed with leukemia. Every single day, and every single class period, my classmates and I would pray to God that this 15 year old boy and his family would stay strong and get through everything that Johnny was going through. At first, all it had been was leukemia, and it began to turn into a much serious problem. I don’t know all of the details of what johnny had been going through, but every day his mom would call the school and let us know how he was doing. Some days it was a good call, and some a bad one. No matter what was going on, we prayed. Johnny had eventually been put on a ventilator, and put into a coma, so his body would naturally heal and not have to deal with all the pain and suffering, like no 15 year old boy should have to go through. We began getting calls that Johnny was becoming responsive, and they knew he could hear his family speak to him. He began to breathe without the ventilator, and was eventually off of it for a whole day! Our prayers had been working, and Johnny had been staying tough with Gods help. This morning, during first period, we were called into the gym for a school assembly. Our principle informed us that Johnny, who had been doing so good, had passed away last night at about 10:00 pm. People began crying, and our whole school was shocked. How could this happen? My classmates and I all had orange shirts(color for leukemia) that had his football number on the back, and we could wear them to school. Our Homecoming football game was a fundraiser for his hospital bills. Our school was there for Johnny and his family through everything, and still will be even after this happened. The family is in so much debt because of the hospital bills, and i guess all I’m asking is for as many notes as possible, and for all of your prayers. I know none of you know him, and I did not know him at all either, but he went to my school, and i want to show him family that there are people out there praying for them, and people who are supporting his family through these hard times.
Stay Strong.
